If the weather allows it, Barcelona will face Granada away from home later on tonight. It’s another stepping stone for Ronald Koeman and his team and a chance to further improve in the standings. However, consistency is something they’ve been lacking for a long time now.

The papers this morning are focusing on the game but in a slightly different way. SPORT say the Catalans are looking for their third victory in a row, should they beat their tonight’s hosts.

Apart from Lionel Messi and Pedri, they suggest, only the young Óscar Mingueza is showing magic that’s on par with the aforementioned duo. For that reason, it’s difficult for Barcelona to remain dominant and the clash is bound to be a thriller once more.

In other news, the Catalans will face Cornellà in the round of 32 of Copa del Rey this year. Seeing how it’s been the season of giant-killing already, it could be a tough affair.

Mundo Deportivo are more concerned with the weather and say Barcelona will face Granada only with Philomena’s – the storm – permission.

Games across Spain are in jeopardy as teams have trouble travelling to and from their airports, which means we may experience postponements along the way.

With so much snow on the roads, this may even be the wiser thing to do at the moment.

I’ve been a Barcelona fan for more than half of my life. What started as blind love is slowly turning into professional writing. Now, I get to write about Barca, analyse them, and voice my opinions on them across platforms. I’m happy to be a part of this big project.
