Four Barcelona players who can leave on loan this window

With less than a week remaining until the new season gets underway, Barcelona must fast-track their process of squad building. It may involve the departures of several young players that have fallen out of favour, following a busy summer transfer window.
Barcelona already have a few candidates destined to leave Camp Nou ahead of the new season. And here, at Barça Universal, we will take a look at four players who could leave on loan this summer, in order to further their careers elsewhere.
Ez Abde
The most obvious addition to this list is Abde Ezzalzouli. The young Moroccan forward is attracting major interest from clubs across Europe, due to his immense potential in the final third.
Valencia, among other clubs, have recently joined the race to sign Ez Abde this summer, potentially on a loan deal until the end of next season.
Nico Gonzalez
On that note, Los Che have also expressed the desire to sign Nico Gonzalez – one of our other candidate on our list.
Much like Abde, Nico is regarded as one of the most gifted players to come out of the Barcelona youth academy in recent years. Although he had started out as a more attacking player, Xavi is keen on utilising him in a more defensive role.
Xavi has given Nico the opportunity to potentially serve as a deputy for Busquets next season. But with Miralem Pjanic also vying for the position and Frenkie de Jong likely to remain at Camp Nou, there is a possibility the youngster could leave the club on loan this summer.
Alex Collado
Moving on, another player facing an uncertain future at Barcelona is Alex Collado. The young playmaker is coming on the back of a loan spell at Granada, but he is unlikely to gain any prominence in the first team any time soon.
It should pave the way for the player to depart Camp Nou. He has no shortage of suitors either, with four clubs, including Scottish giants Celtic reportedly interested in attaining his services ahead of the new season.
Alejandro Balde
Finally, it is Alejandro Balde, who could be unfortunate enough to leave Camp Nou this summer.
The young left-back has been in good form during the pre-season preparations and has showcased excellent development over the summer. Unfortunately, it appears his role in the side could be gravely affected as Barça look to bring in Marcos Alonso this summer.
The former Fiorentina starlet is one of the top targets for Xavi Hernandez, as he looks to add more competition for Jordi Alba.
Alonso’s potentially arrival, though, could gravely affect the role of Balde in the first team, potentially forcing him to find a new club on a loan deal, in order to further his career.
An exit from Camp Nou could be very disappointing on Balde’s part, especially given the progress he has shown over the summer. But the same applies to all the other three players on this list, as they are all talented enough to become an asset to the first team.
However, with Barça still uncertain over their roles next season, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the youngsters this summer.
