Xavi: “I don’t see Barcelona as favorites to win the Champions League”

Barça legend Xavi recently told in an interview that even though he believes that his former club Barcelona will win the league, currently they are not favorites in the Champions League.
“The Champions League can be a bit unfair sometimes because one mistake can send you home. I see Barcelona as a candidate, but not as a favourite.”, said the former midfielder.
“I see Barcelona as the favourites for the league. I think they are stronger than Madrid.”, he added.
Xavi also repeated himself saying that his dream is to coach Barcelona.
“I have always said that my dream is to coach Barcelona, but it is not possible currently. I am in the learning phase right now. I want to go step by step. I have a lot of respect for people who work there [at Barcelona], especially Quique Setién, who is a wonderful coach and is going to do very well with Barça.”, the 40-year-old explained.
Xavi finished his words explaining that he is still talking to his former team-mates often.
“Messi, Busquets, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto are my friends. I talk to them and stay in touch.”
