One of Barcelona’s greatest players of all time, Xavier ‘Xavi’ Hernandez is a former Spanish footballer, and currently, the manager of Qatar Sports League football club Al Sadd, who he joined after bidding farewell to Barcelona in 2015, after a record 767 appearances.
Xavi enjoyed a star-studded playing career as a midfielder, during which won an overabundance of silverware, winning eight La Ligas, three Copa del Reys, four Champions Leagues, two Club World Cups, two European Championships, and the glorious World Cup, which he won with Spain in 2010.
He was at the cornerstone of the 2009 Barcelona sextuple team, en-route registering the most assists in the league and Champions League season. He ended the year with a second runners up finish for the Ballon d’Or.
