Official: Barcelona squad list against Sevilla

Barcelona will be aiming to end 2021 on a high when they travel to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium to face off Sevilla in their final La Liga encounter of the calendar year.

Having won the last game 3-2 against Elche at home, Barça managed to close the gap to fourth-placed Rayo Vallecano to just three points. A win on Tuesday night, coupled with Atletico Madrid dropping points versus Granada could see Xavi Hernandez & co. end the year in fourth place in the standings.

The club have released the squad list for the trip to Andalusia ahead of this crunch clash and there are no major surprises in store.

Sergino Dest misses out yet again for Barcelona, having sustained an injury last week, which led to him being unavailable for the Elche clash as well. But, senior-pro Gerard Pique returns to the squad after having sat out the last game due to suspension.

There is also a call-up for Barça B youngster Ilias Akhomach, who comes in as a replacement for Yusuf Demir, who misses out due to a stomach bug. Ferran Jutgla, who scored against Elche on his full debut last time out, is retained and could start as the No. 9.

Elsewhere, the likes of Ansu Fati, Memphis Depay, Sergi Roberto, Martin Braithwaite and Pedri continue to be sidelined with injuries.
