Tonight, a meeting took place between Suarez’s representatives and Barça president Josep Maria Bartomeu. The meeting went positive, and both parties left satisfied. The meeting took place for over 2 hours.
Suarez was already very close to a signing, but Bartomeu intervened at the very last moment because he did not want to let the Uruguayan go for free. As agreed with Atletico, his transfer will have a price which the Catalan club plans to invest in new signings.
