Barcelona continue to remain in the picture for Marcelo Brozovic’s signing despite Al Nassr’s serious attempts to complete his transfer.

After yesterday’s meeting with Inter Milan officials on Monday in Italy, the Saudi Arabian giants have a total agreement with the Nerazzurri for Brozovic. However, the player has not given his OK to the transfer yet.

And now, reports in Italy and France, as relayed by Mundo Deportivo claim that there is still no agreement between Brozovic and Al Nassr as of yet, as a result of which Barcelona continue to remain on alert on the situation.

It has been suggested that the midfielder and the Saudi Arabian outfit are not agreeing on the wages being offered as of yet.

As per the report, Al Nassr are offering Brozovic a contract worth €20 million per season, but if he wishes to leave Europe and move to Saudi Arabia, the Croatian international wants a more lucrative package worth around €30 million per year.

Furthermore, he has also asked for time as he is still yet to make a decision on whether the time is right for him to leave playing at the top level in Europe and moving to a lower-level competition in the Middle East, especially when he knows that a top team like Barcelona wants to sign him.

At Barça, despite the disadvantage they face when it comes to finances, they remain confident that Brozovic will eventually pick the sports project on offer rather than choosing the money being offered from Al Nassr.
