With less than two days left for Barcelona’s La Liga season opener against Rayo Vallecano at Camp Nou, the club are hoping for a miracle to register all of their seven unregistered stars in time for the game, reports ARA.

As of Friday morning, Barça have not yet registered any of their five new signings in Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and Jules Kounde. Ousmane Dembele and Sergi Roberto, who have signed new contracts, are also unregistered yet.

It has forced the Blaugrana to look at several measures to try and complete the registration process in time for their first game of the season against Rayo Vallecano. However, as things stand, little progress has been achieved and they are running out of time quite fast.

Barça had banked on activating their fourth economic lever by selling the 25% rights of Barça Studios to an American investment fund named Luma in exchange for €100 million. The club were hoping that the deal would go through by Wednesday or Thursday, but things have slowed down on that front.

And with not much time left before the game, it looks difficult for Barcelona to register all the seven stars even they successfully activate the fourth lever by Friday as La Liga would require enough time to study all the documentation and carry out due process.

Hence, club sources believe that, at this moment, it will be a ‘miracle’ if they are able to register all seven players. Instead, officials indicate that there is a solid chance that four stars could be successfully registered in time for the game against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.

The Catalans are also banking on the salary reduction of Gerard Pique to help with the registration process. But, his downward renewal alone will not be enough for the club to register all seven players and the Blaugrana will need to successfully trigger the fourth lever as well.

However, as things stand, there might not be enough time for everything to fall in place for Barcelona to complete the registration of all seven stars by the time they take the field against Rayo.
