The next few days are going to be absolutely crucial as far as the future of Marcelo Brozovic is concerned. As reported before, the Inter midfielder has an offer worth €20 million per season from Al Nassr but the player is yet to make a decision.

And it is only because of this that Barcelona continue to remain in the race. It is given that the Blaugrana cannot really match the figures proposed by the Saudi club, but what they can offer is the excitement of playing in the UEFA Champions League and continuing competing at the highest level in Europe.

At the moment, Inter have reached an agreement with Al Nassr for the transfer of Brozovic for €23 million, but the player is yet to give his OK to the transfer

And now, Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that the Croatian is very much open to the idea of moving to Barcelona this summer. In fact, the Blaugrana already have the OK from the player, but they are yet to make an official offer.

The journalist adds that Barcelona’s offer is going to take some more time, which is hardly a surprise considering their finances. But the La Liga champions will continue to work on the deal.

Brozovic’s ongoing contract with Inter runs until 2026. While the Italians have settled on a fee with Al Nassr, the player has upped his economic demand, with Di Marzio claiming that he has asked the Saudi club for a two-year contract with a salary of €30 million a year as a necessary condition for accepting the offer.

Once again, Barcelona are in no place to match any of the mentioned figures but considering their interest, it is highly anticipated that the Saudi club will up their offer.

The 30-year-old is a priority target for the Catalan giants after the signings of Joshua Kimmich and Martin Zubimendi have practically been ruled out.

And even though they have the player’s green light, the situation remains complicated as they would need to offload some stars before they can press ahead with an offer for Brozovic.
