As rumours continue to swirl about Robert Lewandowski’s future amid interest from Barcelona, the striker’s wife, Anna Lewandowska, has teased a potential transfer to Spain on her social media.

The 33-year-old Bayern Munich superstar has become the hot topic of speculation of late, as his contract with the Germans runs out in around 15 months.

With meaningful talks over a new deal yet to take place, Lewandowski is believed to have grown frustrated and is seeking an exit at the end of the ongoing season.

Barcelona have emerged as the Poland international’s next potential destination, with the Catalans needing a new ace goalscorer in the summer.

There have been strong links to the centre-forward, with reports claiming that the Barça officials have already met with his agent, Pini Zahavi, to work out a transfer before next season.

But Bayern Munich remain adamant that Lewandowski is not for sale and are hoping to tie him down to a new contract soon.

Amidst all this, the former Borussia Dortmund striker’s wife, Anna Lewandowska, posted a cryptic story on her Instagram profile, in which she wrote: “Hello guys! I’m starting to learn Spanish! Any tips? Let me know!”

The timing of the post certainly raises eyebrows, considering Lewandowski’s links with a potential transfer to Barcelona.

The 33-year-old is enjoying another fine season for Bayern, having netted 47 goals in 41 games. The German champions are hopeful of prolonging his stay at the Allianz Arena.

But it remains to be seen if the Poland international is willing to consider that possibility, with reports claiming that he already has an agreement in place with Barcelona, although club officials have been quick to brush those down.

An intriguing saga could unfold in the coming weeks as Barça fight to sign one of the greatest goalscorers in the modern era of the game even as Bayern Munich push to retain his services beyond this summer.
