Watch: Barcelona vs Eibar, Match Preview

Pablo Woolls-Blanco

Barcelona return to action following a week’s break over Christmas, and take on Eibar at the Camp Nou on Tuesday evening. Ronald Koeman’s side will be without Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba, on top of other long-term absentees, but will be boosted by the return of winger Ousmane Dembélé.

Despite a tricky start to the season, Eibar have been improving over the last couple of months, and have picked up some impressive results against La Liga’s toughest sides, especially away from home. This on top of the fact that Barcelona will be without so many key players, makes it an even more crucial test for the ‘Blaugrana’, who will know they must be on top form to secure all three points.

My passion has always been football. Not just playing football, but also watching, analysing and talking about it. Football is my life. It’s what I wake up thinking about and go to bed worrying about. Although I love playing football, it is watching, analysing and sharing my thoughts on the game that inspires me. I began sharing my opinions on my YouTube channel from a very young age, and I am now delighted to be part of this fantastic team at Barça Universal. Barça is a huge part of my life and will always be. Força Barça!
