Ousmane Dembélé is going through another rough patch at Barcelona. Just as things were finally starting to click and the Frenchman was given a bigger role in the team, disaster struck once more.
Now, unfortunately, he is out injured again and won’t be able to feature for the Catalans for quite a while longer. It’s a shame too because it does seem like there is both a need and a place for a player of Dembélé’s profile in Ronald Koeman’s plans.
The fans, however, have mostly been supportive of the Frenchman, realising that there is certainly talent hidden beneath that rough exterior. But the young winger doesn’t seem to be in a good mood at all.
Recently, he was filmed skipping a red light on the road just to avoid some young fans who wanted to take a picture. You can see the video down below.
Of course, it does get difficult to appease to all the fans, especially when they swarm the footballers’ cars, but it’s also hard to get away from the feeling that this was an unnecessarily dangerous stunt to pull, especially since we’re talking about little kids here.
It remains to be seen whether he’ll be fined for his actions but at the very least, this could once again turn some portion of the fanbase against him.
