The international break came at an untimely moment for Barcelona, considering their dominant form before the break.

But many of the Catalans’ players are keeping themselves busy with their respective national teams, honing their skills and establishing rhythm ahead of a crucial phase of the season, with the likes of PSG and Real Madrid awaiting next month.

The Spanish national team, in particular, harbors an abundance of talent from Barcelona. Lamine Yamal started the game against Brazil today and concluded the first half on an incredibly high note.

Dancing through Brazil’s defense

Indeed, the youngster left no prisoners on Spain’s right flank. Yamal had a hand to play in both of La Roja’s goals.

In the 10th minute, he dribbled past 3 players and won a penalty for Spain, which Rodri effortlessly converted.

Then, the 16-year-old sensation earned a direct goal contribution by sliding in a well-timed pass for former La Masia graduate Dani Olmo.

Olmo took on a barrage of players and scored a scorcher, allowing Yamal to register his first-ever assist for the official Spanish national team. He had already scored two goals in the national colors before.

In another moment, Yamal again showed what he is capable of, dribbling through Brazil’s team.

The teenage prodigy will be eager to notch more goal contributions, with the game proving to be an open affair.

Meanwhile, on the opposing end, Raphinha also has a chance to stamp his authority on the game.

Yamal’s market value on the ascendancy

The youngster recently observed a notable increase in his market value, as Lamine Yamal’s market value on Transfermarkt has increased to an incredible €75 million.

The update came on the back of his superb displays with the Catalan giants, helping his team secure qualification in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

Now that Yamal is emulating his success with the Spanish national team, any further price hikes cannot be ruled out.
