Pep Guardiola is a former Spanish football player, and now manager of Manchester City.
Guardiola enjoyed a very successful career as a player, winning six La Ligas, one Copa del Rey, and the Champions League with Barcelona. However, his best successes have come as a football manager.
He is Barcelona’s most successful manager, winning 14 trophies with the club, including two Champions Leagues and three La Ligas. Guardiola was also at the helm for Barcelona when they won the legendary treble of the 2008/09 season and the still unheard-of sextuple in 2009.
After leaving Barcelona in 2012, the Spaniard managed Bayern Munich, with whom he won seven trophies, and has been the head coach of Manchester City since 2016, winning eight titles, including a historic 100-point season in 2017/18.
