Report: Barcelona slap €15 million price on ‘next Pogba’ nicknamed youngster

According to reports from ARA, the offers received by Barcelona for their young talent Ilaix Moriba have all been underwhelming so far.
All the proposals received by the Catalan side were under five million Euros, a figure that they feel is insufficient for a player of Moriba’s talent.
The club remain firm on their price tag of at least 15 million Euros. ARA add that Barcelona will not consider selling the midfielder for a price less than the 15 million Euros they find reasonable.
The situation comes as a result of disagreements between the player’s representatives and Barcelona’s board during contract talks last month.
While the player wanted a significant raise in salary, the club deemed the request unjustifiable. Given the severe economic crises that the club was in, not agreeing to the player’s whims and fancies is understandable.
Moriba, however, reportedly decided to stick to his demands. Moreover, the player is willing to spend a year on the stands to run his contract down and leave on a free if the situation does not improve.
Earlier in the week, the La Masia graduate’s representatives contacted a plethora of clubs offering his services. Amongst the clubs were Tottenham Hotspurs, Liverpool, Arsenal, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, and Leicester City.
The situation seems to be moving in the right direction for the club, which have decided to cash in on the youngster. Early offers from interested parties have been underwhelming.
Nevertheless, interest in the player can only be a sign of good things to come. His departure from Barcelona seems to be a certainty, only a wait for the right offer to come in.
