Later on this month, Barcelona will face Paris Saint-Germain in the first round of the Champions League knockout stages. The two teams know each other rather well but it is still unknown in what condition will each of them arrive to the clash.

For the Catalans, there are a number of questions left to be answered and SPORT‘s cover this morning tackles two big pieces of the jigsaw.

According to their update, Gerard Piqué is recovering quite well so far and could even cut his time on the sidelines enough to participate in the big match. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the young starlet Ansu Fati.

It does seem like his knee won’t be ready for PSG just yet. The paper suggests that the youngster has recently increased the workload to boost his recovery time but it seems it was too much and ended up slowing down the healing process.

Mundo Deportivo, on the other hand, are focusing on transfer rumours surrounding Lionel Messi.

They say Barcelona are fed up with constant talking coming from the Parisiens‘ camp, especially since their clash is so close at this point.

Messi himself has distanced himself from such rumours and the Argentine seems to be focused purely on the now and finishing the 2020/21 season as best as possible.

Then, in the summer, he will make his decision.
