These last few hours, especially since Barça was knocked out of the Champions League, have been incredibly intense regarding rumors and possible transfers that could potentially be made by the Blaugranas next summer.

A clear example is the Catalan media, whose two most important newspapers decided to fill their covers for their Friday’s edition with information about players that have been reportedly linked with the club these last few days.

Firstly Mundo Deportivo has chosen to put together all Barça’s objectives for the next transfer window. Sergio Agüero, Erling Haaland, David Alaba, Eric Garcia, and Memphis are the main candidates to potentially land at the Camp Nou this summer.

Besides writing down names, they add that regardless of the critical financial situation, the new board has really good options at a reasonable price. Other than Haaland, whose price is listed at around €110 million, all the other possible signings would join the Catalan club for free or a manageable price.

The other big Catalan media that have mentioned some possible transfers in their cover was SPORT. In this case, though, they just decided that the current Manchester City defender Eric Garcia should be the most remarkable rumor. They state that Barcelona has reactivated the deal negotiation for the Catalan player, as he would be chosen to be the first official transfer in the new Laporta era. Garcia has reportedly been waiting for the new president to be in charge of the club before making any move.

Also, SPORT mentions in its cover that Ronald Koeman prefers Memphis Depay and that Sergio Agüero would have to lower his ambitions regarding his possible salary if he wants to arrive at Camp Nou.

It is yet to be proven if these rumors will end up materializing into realistic operations or only end up as possibilities that never happened, like last summer’s Depay and Lautaro deals. Only the summer transfer window will tell what the future is going to be like at Can Barça.
