Papers: Barcelona’s epic comeback secures Copa del Rey final

Barcelona’s season has suddenly taken a big and positive turn. With two victories over Sevilla in the span of a couple of days, the Catalans’ whole outlook on the campaign has now changed. We’ve gone from a bleak season to a potential end with a high note. Of course, nothing is set in stone and there’s still a lot to battle for.
The papers, of course, are thrilled with last night’s game. Mundo Deportivo call the game an epic comeback, and it fits perfectly.

Even when trailing two goals behind a tough rival, Barcelona were strong and united enough to come back and win. Not only that, this triumph has ensured they’re in yet another Copa del Rey final where they await their next opponent.
There were a couple of crucial points in the game with the three goals and a penalty save from Marc-Andre ter Stegen. At the end of the day, the 3-0 victory sealed the deal.
SPORT are on the same page with the title ‘Grand‘. And just like MD’s title, this one fits great as well.

The best thing about this comeback was that Barcelona were on the brink of elimination but it didn’t phase them at all. From the first minute of the game until the final whistle, the Catalans were on the attack and looking to turn things around.
But the job is not done just yet. The final awaits and regardless who ends up on the other side of the pitch, we know this team will give its all.
And in this regard, Ronald Koeman has to be given a lot of credit as well.
