The 1-0 victory against Levante was way too close for comfort but a win is still a win. Barcelona are in dire need of good results and positive feelings so tonight’s clash against Real Sociedad is a huge event for the Catalans. The papers feel that way too.

SPORT say they mustn’t let the La Liga train escape and a victory tonight would put them one step closer to clawing their way back into the race.

Real Sociedad are currently at the top of the table and taking them down would be a huge boost of confidence for the team. But it’ll also be a big test for Ronald Koeman’s troops, who haven’t exactly been firing on all cylinders.

Mundo Deportivo are on the same page, saying that this is not the time to stop. Another win tonight is a must for the Catalans.

But the outlet also mentions how on Monday there was a team lunch as the squad is adamant on connecting better both off and on the pitch.

In other news, Lionel Messi will play for his 300th victory in La Liga and is also one goal away from equalling Pelé’s record.

Needless to say, it could really be a huge night for him and the team as a whole.
