Barcelona ran out 3-1 as the victors against Celta Vigo at the Camp Nou tonight, but the goals were barely the talking point during or after the game. It was a very open match, with both teams committing several errors.

Apart from that, Ronald Araujo and Gavi were involved in a dangerous clash of heads in the second half with the former suffering a concussion.

Araujo was stretchered off in an ambulance, and Barça have confirmed that he has suffered a concussion, and was taken to the Barcelona city hospital.

Further, Gerard Romero has confirmed that ‘everything is ok’ with Araujo, and his condition is deemed as not serious. The defender is conscious, and will likely stay at the hospital for further tests, the decision about which will be taken soon.

While there is no certain decision on his availability for the Getafe game on the weekend, it would be safe to say that he is not expected to participate at all.

Barça Universal wish the Uruguayan a speedy recovery!
