Barcelona are set to take on Sevilla for gameweek seven of La Liga, at home, as they look to get back on top of the table, albeit temporarily. Coming off a 2-2 draw against Mallorca, they will be looking to get back to winning ways.

Xavi has made a few changes to the team from midweek, and is starting a rather interesting XI for this clash.

Joao Cancelo retains his spot as a right-back, and is paired up with Alejandro Balde, who will provide width from the left.

Andreas Christensen, meanwhile, takes the reins alongside Jules Kounde as central defenders, guarding Marc-Andre ter Stegen in goal.

Oriol Romeu had a game to forget as a defensive midfielder, and has been replaced by Ilkay Gundogan, who starts alongside Gavi in the double pivot.

Raphinha takes over as the third midfielder, probably as a no. 10. The Brazilian’s energy and work rate will be crucial today.

Lamine Yamal comes in to start as the right-winger, while Joao Felix continues on the left side of the attack. This duo will be flanking Robert Lewandowski, who takes his spot as the sole no. 9 of the team.

Confirmed Barça XI: ter Stegen; Cancelo, Kounde, Christensen, Balde; Gundogan, Gavi; Yamal, Raphinha, Felix; Lewandowski
