Official: Barcelona starting lineup against Real Betis
On a thirteen-game unbeaten streak, Barcelona will their challenge to Seville today to lock horns against Real Betis in a midweek special fixture. Xavi has made x changes to the starting lineup that came away with a 0-1 win against Girona on the weekend.
Robert Lewandowski returns to the XI after serving his three-match suspension against Atletico Madrid, Getafe, and Girona. He is flanked on either side by Raphinha and Gavi. The latter will don his fresh #6 jersey after finally being registered as a first-team player.
Pedri starts in midfield as one of the advanced players alongside Frenkie de Jong. Sergio Busquets anchors the centre of the park in place of Sergio Busquets.
Eric Garcia has been benched, giving way to Andreas Christensen to return to the backline. Ronald Araujo takes his place in central defence alongside the Dane, while Jules Kounde flanks the quartet on the right. Alejandro Balde is the final piece of the puzzle on the left.
Inarguably Barcelona’s best player this season, Marc-Andre ter Stegen will be in goal hoping to keep his 15th(!) clean sheet of the 2022/23 campaign.
