It’s derby day in Catalunya as Espanyol get ready to host Barcelona at the RCDE Stadium. It’s a vastly different clash for both sides, though.

For Barça, it’s a chance to officially win the league title for the first time in four seasons, but for Espanyol, it’s more about surviving relegation, currently sitting in the penultimate position.

Xavi has opted to use his best possible starting lineup, with Raphinha being chosen over Ousmane Dembele for the right-wing. Robert Lewandowski takes his place as the striker, while Gavi gets the nod at left-wing.

In midfield, meanwhile, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong headline the XI, with captain Sergio Busquets as the anchor, hoping to win his first La Liga with the armband.

Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araujo takes their position in central defence as one would expect, while Jules Kounde has been chosen to start as the right-back. Alejandro Balde rounds off the backline as the left-back.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen is the final piece as the puzzle, holding the fort as the goalkeeper.

Confirmed Barça XI: ter Stegen; Kounde, Araujo, Christensen, Balde; Pedri, Busquets, de Jong; Raphinha, Lewandowski, Gavi
