Barcelona interim manager Sergi Barjuan has made three changes to the team that started against Deportivo Alaves at the weekend, for their crunch UEFA Champions League game against Dynamo Kyiv.

The first of these three alterations comes in defence where the injured Gerard Pique has been replaced by Clement Lenglet. He has Eric Garcia as his partner at centre-back with the duo flanked by Oscar Mingueza and Jordi Alba as the two full-backs.

There is a change in the middle of the park as well, with Frenkie de Jong coming into the side after having recovered from his injury. He partners Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets and Nico Gonzalez in the centre of the park.

Despite de Jong starting, Gavi has also been retained in the side and the teenager could play on the right side of a 4-3-3 setup or Barca may even line up in a 4-3-1-2 with Gavi in the hole behind the two forwards, who are Memphis Depay and the returning Ansu Fati.

Ousmane Dembele makes the matchday squad for the first time this season after having returned from injury. Ronald Araujo is also back among the substitutes for Barcelona against Dynamo Kyiv.

Confirmed XI: ter Stegen; Mingueza, Eric, Lenglet, Alba; de Jong, Busquets, Nico; Gavi, Ansu, Memphis
