An eventful day in Barcelona as the general assembly for members lasted nine hours, starting early afternoon. The focus is now on the game against Celta Vigo at the Camp Nou, the lineup for which has been released by the club.

Xavi makes several changes to the starting lineup that took on Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. Gerard Pique gets his third start of the season, replacing the injured Andreas Christensen in the heart of the defence.

Marcos Alonso starts alongside him as a centre-back, flanked by Alejandro Balde on the right side, and Jordi Alba on the left. This incredibly make-shift back-four will have the responsibility of screening Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who has been in top form since the campaign kicked off.

In midfield, Gavi starts yet another game, with usual suspects, Sergio Busquets and Pedri.

Ousmane Dembele has been benched in favour of Ferran Torres, who starts on the left-wing. Raphinha retains his spot in the starting lineup, but will be deployed in his natural right-wing slot.

Unquestionably, the final piece of the puzzle is Robert Lewandowski. The Pole has failed to score in just three games this season, and Barcelona have not won any of them.

Confirmed starting XI: ter Stegen; Balde, Pique, Alonso, Alba; Gavi, Busquets, de Jong; Raphinha, Lewandowski, Torres
