Official: Barcelona squad list to face Real Valladolid
Barcelona will look to bounce back strongly from their 2-1 loss to Real Sociedad when they lock horns with Real Valladolid away at Estadio Jose Zorrilla on Tuesday night.
The Blaugrana were handed over the La Liga trophy on Saturday night at Spotify Camp Nou and the celebrations that followed were grand.
However, prior to that, Xavi Hernandez & co. seemed to be suffering from the title hangover as they fell to a defeat to Sociedad. The aim will now be to correct the course and end the season on a strong note by winning the remaining three matches.
Ahead of the trip to Valladolid, manager Xavi has released the squad list that will be at his disposal for the game.
As was the case in the last game, Pedri and Ronald Araujo miss out again as they are recovering from their minor fitness problems and did not train with the team today.
Other than that, Jules Kounde is also absent from the squad after picking up some discomfort during the game against Real Sociedad. But, Gavi is back in contention after serving out his one-match suspension, while there is a call-up for Marc Casado as well.
