The date for the exciting El Clasico between Barcelona Legends and Real Madrid Leyendas has officially been announced on both clubs’ media channels, as both great rivals will see their most iconic former players go head-to-head on the 20th of July 2021.

The matchup will be hosted at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv, Israel. The arena has a capacity of 29,400 spectators, as many lucky people will get to witness the exhibition match after a long delay due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Barcelona Legends side, overseen by Albert Ferrer, will feature many massive names like Ronaldinho, Deco, Rivaldo, Gaizka Mendieta and more. Meanwhile, Real Madrid will lay down their fair share of trump cards, with Roberto Carlos and Luis Figo among the appearance makers.

This matchup will be held just a couple of weeks prior to the current Barcelona squad travelling to Israel for their preseason in early August. This event is being hosted to promote the launch of the worldwideBarcelona exhibition which inaugurates in Tel Aviv in July.

The last Clasico legends match was played all the way back in 2017, where the Catalans prevailed in a 3-2 victory, where Ronaldinho stole the show with three assists. That was the first time since 2008, that the Brazilian donned the Garnet and Blue colours after leaving for AC Milan.

The Legends Clasico will be available to stream on the club’s official streaming service Barça TV+ at 7:30 PM CET and on demand to watch later.
