Official: Barcelona ace Raphinha starts for Brazil against Serbia

Brazil will take on Serbia in their first FIFA World Cup 2022 encounter in a few minutes and manager Tite has announced the starting lineup that will face the European nation at Lusail Stadium.
And, featuring from the kickoff is Barcelona winger Raphinha. The 25-year-old had found game-time hard to come by at times at the club level this season but continues to enjoy the faith of his national team coaches.
Raphinha gets the nod on the right flank ahead of the likes of Rodrygo Goes, Antony, Gabriel Martinelli, and Gabriel Jesus.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison, Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr, and former Barcelona superstar Neymar complete the rest of the attack for the Selecao.
Casemiro and Lucas Paqueta occupy the middle of the park while Danilo, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and Alex Sandro make up the backline that will shield Alisson Becker in the Brazil goal.
Former Barcelona right-back and club legend Dani Alves is on the bench, along with Bruno Guimaraes, Fabinho, Rodrygo and Eder Militao, among others.
