Liverpool contact Barcelona attacker over Bosman move – report

There is no secret Ousmane Dembélé and his agent has rejected Barcelona’s renewal offer. Their collective wage demands have proven to be a bit too lavish for the Catalans, who are not willing to break their financial structure anytime soon.
It could ultimately see Dembele depart Camp Nou as a free agent this summer. Given his performances during the second half of the campaign, he has found no shortage of suitors either.
French giants Paris Saint-Germain are considering Dembele an ideal replacement for Angel Di Maria, although recent reports suggest they have pulled the plug on the deal.
As per Diario Sport, a new player has emerged on the scene, in the form of Liverpool. The Premier League giants have emerged as a potential destination for the Frenchman, as they prepare for life without Sadio Mane.
The Senegalese international has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich lately, with the player even agreeing personal terms with the Bavarians.
Liverpool believe Dembele has what it takes to lead the club’s rebuild in the offensive department, potentially creating a deadly partnership alongside the likes of Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah.
Dembele’s status as a free agent makes him a desirable target for Liverpool, although the Reds might not be able to meet the winger’s demands.
Dembele himself is yet to make a decision on his future. He is open to receiving new offers from interested parties, including Liverpool and their league rivals Chelsea, with Thomas Tuchel reportedly keen on a reunion with Dembele at Stamford Bridge.
