Ansu Fati’s recent injury has been a major roller coaster for Culés, who would like nothing more than to see the starlet back on the pitch. There is, however, good news; according to AS, the 18-year-old has returned to the Catalan capital to begin his recovery.

The fiasco started in November when Fati ruptured his left internal meniscus, which required surgery and four months off. The matter wasn’t quite this simple: a number of complications necessitated yet another surgery only 2 months later.

Even that was not sufficient: the Spaniard found himself in the operating room yet again in March for the third time. Through a terrible run of luck, Fati’s third operation wasn’t able to fix his knee either. Jorge Mendes, the attacker’s representative, intervened at this point, taking him to Portugal to undergo surgery by the doctor of the Portuguese national team.

At last, the operation may have finally been what was needed: Fati is predicted to be in recovery for 2 and a half months, which means that (barring any setbacks) the youngster could be back on the pitch for preseason.

This has been the case after nearly a month out of Barcelona, but the 18-year-old has finally returned to the Ciutat Esportiva and will now commence his recovery under the services of the club.

Through transfers and leadership, there certainly is hope at FC Barcelona, and the prospect of the young prodigy on the pitch is exciting, to say the least.
