Injury scare for Barcelona as star winger is taken off against Sevilla

After losing Frenkie de Jong to an injury during the game against Celta Vigo last weekend, Barcelona were dealt with yet another fitness issue today during their contest versus Sevilla.
Taking on the Andalusian outfit at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys, the Blaugrana saw star winger Raphinha pick up an injury during the first half of the match.
The incident occurred just a little after the half-hour mark as the Brazilian international went down in discomfort following a run and an effort at goal.
It appeared as if Raphinha had hurt his hamstring area after a change of pace during his run and following attention from the medical department, it was decided that he would be taken off.
The substitution happened in the 35th minute with the former Leeds United winger making way for La Masia ace Fermin Lopez.
This comes as a blow for Raphinha, who has had a stop-start season thus far, having lost his place in the starting XI after his red card in the season-opener against Getafe.
The winger had started and scored against Mallorca earlier this week and was rewarded with another start today, but was unfortunately hit with an injury.
Barcelona will be hoping that the issue is not serious and that Raphinha mounts a quick recovery, with important games on the horizon.
