Today, reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano denied reports coming from Tuttosport regarding Ousmane Dembélé’s departure from FC Barcelona. Multiple reports claimed that the French winger was included in a swap deal with Juventus, bringing Douglas Costa to the Camp Nou — which is absolutely not the case.

Ronald Koeman is absolutely counting on Dembélé and wants to get the best out of the player this season. The manager considers the Frenchman a crucial piece of his squad and wants to turn him into a regular starter. To do so, Koeman is already working with Dembélé’s fitness coaches in order to keep the player fit throughout the season. Besides that, Dembélé himself has never thought about leaving Barcelona either.
According to Fabrizio, Dembélé is not an option for Juventus or Manchester United (who he has been linked with as well). Besides that, Juventus’ winger Costa is also not part of any swap deal.
Dembélé has not had the best Barça career so far, but during his times of full fitness, he has shown what he is capable of. Whatever rumor might come out, it is clear that Dembélé intends to stay at Barcelona — not only per his own request but also because Koeman demands so.
Ansu Fati becomes El Clasico’s youngest-ever scorer
Barcelona started El Clasico in the worst way possible after Federico Valverde opened the scoring at Camp Nou early on, but Ronald Koeman’s side knew how to reply almost instantly and made Culés breathe a bit. The scorer was Ansu Fati, who now breaks another record in his young career.
After his equaliser, Fati is now El Clasico’s youngest-ever scorer, scoring in the most important fixture of the year a week before his 18th birthday. After an ingenious pass from Leo Messi, Jordi Alba ran with the ball and gave the ball to Fati, who scored in Thibaut Courtois’s net. Koeman utilised Fati as a striker in El Clasico and his choice paid dividends as the teenager already opened his El Clasico account.
Barça fans began panicking after Valverde opened the scoring early on but the Culés, after a few minutes where they struggled, managed to get back into the game and level the scoring. Moreover, Ansu Fati isn’t the only teenager on the pitch as Koeman surprisingly started Sergiño Dest and Pedri for their first El Clasico. Dest is now the first American to appear in the prestigious fixture.
