According to journalist Adrian Sanchez, former Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick is very keen on joining Barcelona as he considers this as a unique opportunity.

Flick, who happens to be on Barcelona’s radar as a potential successor of Xavi, believes that he can do a job in Catalonia and for that, he is already studying the team dynamics.

In fact, the German tactician has told his agent, Pini Zahavi, whose relationship with Barcelona president Joan Laporta is extremely good, to do everything in his power to make sure he ends up at Barcelona.

Zahavi’s presence during Barcelona’s match

A few days back, we reported that Zahavi was present at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys to watch Barcelona taking on Getafe and the Israeli’s journey to the Catalan capital suggested that something significant was unfolding.

It is believed that the agent’s visit extended over several days and he utilized his time in Barcelona to engage in multiple meetings, including the one with Laporta.

While his association is rather known for representing Robert Lewandowski, it is no coincidence that he also happens to work with Flick.

Now, it is believed that Flick is eager to take up the role at Barcelona and amidst his aspiration, Zahavi has been working behind the scenes.

Zahavi’s priority is Flick

Zahavi, who also manages Thomas Tuchel, kept a low profile by opting for careful meetings held away from public spaces to avoid unwarranted attention from the media as he is prioritizing the candidacy of Flick for the managerial position at Barcelona.

It is to be noted that Flick was extremely successful at Bayern Munich and given his roots and experience, it is likely that his pull will be extremely noteworthy for some players in Bavaria.

As such, Sanchez also states that if Flick arrives in Barcelona, a few players from the Bayern Munich squad could follow suit, especially a certain Joshua Kimmich.
