Palmeiras starlet Endrick is one of the most in-demand young players in football currently.

Just aged 15, the Brazilian sensation is being billed as the next big thing coming up in the South American footballing scenes, with several top clubs across Europe pursuing his signing.

The teenage forward enhanced his reputation with his performances in the Copa Sao Paulo recently, during which he finished as the best player of the tournament.

Barcelona, too, have been credited with a serious interest in the 15-year-old prodigy. The Catalans have previously sent scouts to watch Endrick in action and are keen on bringing him into the club when he turns 18 years old.

And, it seems like the Catalans wish to leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of the Palmeiras wonderkid as they invited him to the club’s UEFA Europa League clash against Napoli on Thursday night.

Indeed, as indicated by SPORT, Endrick was in the stands as Barcelona clawed their back from a goal down to play out a 1-1 draw against Napoli in the first leg of their knockout playoffs.

It is claimed that the forward came to Catalonia on Wednesday night and spent the entire Thursday touring Barcelona and learning about the Catalan capital, before attending the game in the evening.

The attacking prodigy has previously hinted that he could be open to moving to Barça. However, it must be noted that the 15-year-old had also spoken glowingly about the Catalan club’s rivals, Real Madrid.

Furthermore, he was also in attendance for Madrid’s Champions League defeat against PSG on Tuesday night, with the latter club also interested in him.
