Barcelona ready to listen to offers starting €70 million for 26-year-old forward

Barcelona will kickstart a huge summer clearout this transfer market in an attempt to make way for new signings in the team.
While their priority was to bring Lionel Messi back to the Camp Nou, it seems that operation has failed as the Argentine is set to join Inter Miami as a free agent. With that in the past, the Catalans will turn their attention to other priority targets.
Ideally, Barcelona will be looking to bring in a centre-back, with Inigo Martinez’s transfer almost finalised, a new left-winger, a backup striker, a central midfielder, and a defensive midfielder with Sergio Busquets now gone.
To make sure they strengthen all positions in the summer, Barça may have to make some strict calls in the transfer market, like selling some of the players they’d like to keep. One of them could be Raphinha.
According to a report from Tiempo de Juego, Barcelona are ready to listen to offers starting from €70 million for the Brazilian. Several Premier League teams are interested in his contract.
Previous reports have stated that Newcastle United had already sent in a €80 million offer for Raphinha, which is being studied by Barcelona. While they are inclined to say yes to it given their dire financial situation, the player is not ready to leave the club.
Xavi, too, has stated that the player is nontransferable for him. The final call, though, will likely be made by the club.
“Raphinha is NOT on the market. He’s staying at Barcelona and he’s gonna help us a lot. He’s a crucial player for me, but really very important player. He makes the difference,” Xavi said.
