Barcelona prodigy’s father, agent want player to leave; could be sold for a good offer

According to bombastic news reported by Gerard Romero, Ansu Fati’s father Bori Fati met with Barcelona officials today in a meeting that lasted nearly an hour.
The meeting was to discuss Fati’s role in the team and his future at the club. The Spaniard has been playing a squad role this season, and is currently behind Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha, and Gavi in the pecking order.
Further, the reliable Victor Navarro also spoke on Romero’s stream, reporting that Bori Fati and the forward’s agent Jorge Mendes want Ansu to leave the club in the summer. Joan Laporta, despite rejecting the idea initially, could be forced to sell the La Masia graduate if a good arrives.
Barcelona are desperately looking to reduce their wage bill in the summer to make way for new signings and to register existing contracts.
While they will obviously try to sell players that are surplus to requirements, the club could also be forced to depart with assets that are either already crucial or could be in the future.
This list includes, and probably starts with Fati, who has been in rather poor form whenever given the chance. Ferran Torres is also on the list, and one cannot rule out the likes of Eric Garcia and Raphinha either.
