Earlier today, reports emerged claiming that Manchester United had offered Barcelona out-of-favour winger Jadon Sancho in a direct swap deal for Raphinha.

The England winger has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford and has been exiled from the first-team setup by manager Erik ten Hag.

As such, he is expected to leave the Red Devils in January, giving way to speculations about a potential swap deal involving Raphinha of Barça.

Barcelona not interested in Sancho

It has been previously reported that Barcelona held an interest in signing Sancho, especially after he had a falling out with Ten Hag.

However, now Mundo Deportivo is reporting that the reigning La Liga champions have no interest whatsoever in signing the former Borussia Dortmund winger during the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old might be headed for the exit doors come January, but as things stand, Sancho does not feature in Barcelona’s transfer plans.

As such, with zero interest in signing Sancho, Barcelona have ruled out any potential swap deal with Manchester United involving Raphinha.

The report suggests that, as things stand, the 26-year-old Brazilian winger is seen as an ‘untouchable’ player in the Blaugrana squad.

Barça would consider selling Raphinha only during the summer, that too only if a big offer arrives and the club can strengthen the squad further by signing an even better replacement.

Otherwise, if there is not much scope of improving the level of the squad, then the Catalan giants have no plans to listen to any offers for the former Leeds United attacker.
