Barcelona interested in signing €85 million-rated Manchester United winger

Barcelona have expressed their interest in signing Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford, according to Samuel Luckhurst.
The winger’s future at United has been called into question following their defeat to Manchester City in the league. Fabrizio Romano reported that the winger is unhappy with his game-time, and wants more clarity.
Rashford’s current contract runs out in 2023, and there have not been any talks of a renewal yet. In fact, Paris Saint-Germain were interested in signing him last summer, but the move did not go through.
The source reports that since the news about his future broke, ‘the phone has not stopped ringing’. One of the calls was by Barcelona, who did not waste time placing their inquiry.
After playing through several injuries last season, Rashford has not been a part of the United starting XI an awful lot this time around. He has been in a tussle with Paul Pogba, Anthony Elanga, and of course, Jadon Sancho for a spot on the wings.
He’s contributed with just six goal contributions (four goals, two assists) in 19 games this season, as opposed to the 11 goals, nine assists last time around.
Rashford does not want to leave United but wants a starting role at the club. The news of his exit could act as a catalyst for renewal talks, especially with several teams interested.
If a sale should go through this summer, one could reasonably expect his price tag to be around €40 million given his form. A fit Rashford, in the right set up, could end up bagging loads of goal and nearly €100 million in transfer fees.
