Barcelona are chasing the signing of more forwards in the summer despite adding Ferran Torres, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Adama Traore to their squad in the winter. Erling Haaland is the top priority, but they also have eyes set on possible replacements for Ousmane Dembele.

The Frenchman is set to depart the club on a Bosman move in the summer, and Fabrizio Romano claims that the Blaugranes are interested in Leeds United’s Raphinha.

The Brazilian winger is on the radar of Chelsea and Liverpool, too, and there are other clubs across the continent scouting him. After all, it seems he has single-handedly kept Leeds out of the relegation zone with his nine goals and two assists.

Barcelona do have an advantage over the two clubs, though. Their head of scout in South America, Deco, is Raphinha’s agent, and a club legend.

In the past, there were reports claiming that Leeds could be forced to offload him for as low as €20 million if they get relegated. If not, one can expect the price tag to swing around the €50 million mark.

Nevertheless, Barça need to prepare for life after Dembele, and looking at someone as talented, and in their theoretical prime, as Raphinha is certainly the right way to go.
