On-loan Barcelona forward Joao Felix has claimed he would like to see Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai at the club in the future.

Szoboszlai joined Liverpool during the last summer transfer window from RB Leipzig and has quickly become an important player for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

In 20 appearances for the Reds, the Hungarian international has three goals and two assists and is a regular fixture in the side.

And, it appears that Szoboszlai has made an impression on Joao Felix, who has admitted that he would like to see the 23-year-old midfielder at Barcelona in the future.

As quoted by Mundo Deportivo, when asked to name a young footballer he would like to see at Barça, the 24-year-old Portuguese international said:

“Dominik Szoboszlai, from Liverpool. I like his game and I think he could play here one day.”

Szoboszlai is tied down to a long-term contract at Liverpool until the summer of 2028 and given Barcelona’s financial situation, any move for him in the immediate future is out of the question.

In fact, the Catalans’ focus in the summer is likely to be on the permanent signing of Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid as well as Joao Cancelo from Manchester City.
