Raphina has been in the thick of things at Barcelona this week, not necessarily because of his performance on the pitch but because of his future at the club.

The forward has indeed become a target for Arsenal lately, with the Premier League leaders considering him as an ideal alternative for top target Mykhailo Mudryk, who is on the verge of joining Chelsea in a deal worth a whopping €100 million.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Raphinha has no plans to leave Barcelona in this January transfer window. The player’s environment was contacted by the Spanish news outlet, but they have ruled out any move to Emirates Stadium in the near future.

It appears Raphinha has no desire to leave Barça just six months after joining the club. It is worth noting that Arsenal were one of the clubs who were interested in the services of the Brazilian during the summer transfer window.

But the winger was determined to join Barcelona and refused a move to Arsenal in the process. The player now wants to work on his dream of succeeding at Camp Nou and as such, he has no plans to leave the club.

Barcelona, for their part, have appeared apprehensive about offloading Raphinha. The club are aware of the forward’s potential and what he can bring to the table, even though he has netted only three goals in 22 competitive matches so far this season.

Recent reports suggest the Catalans may consider the sale of the former Leeds United starlet only in an exceptional case. A fee of €100 million has even been mooted as the cutoff figure for the Spanish giants, who are more interested in sanctioning the exit of Atletico Madrid target Memphis Depay this month.
