Barcelona win big in Ukraine and seal a spot in the Round of 16 of the Champions League, in impressive fashion. With a number of key players injured or resting, Barça’s second-string side demolished Dynamo in the capital, with standout performances from Sergiño Dest and Carles Aleñá.
The first half of the game was fairly uneventful, but following Sergiño Dest’s fantastic opener in the second half, the floodgates opened for the Catalans, with Martin Braithwaite bagging a brace and substitute Antoine Griezmann rounding off the scoring to make it four.
There were plenty of new faces involved in Ronald Koeman’s side, including Barça debuts to Matheus Fernandes, Konrad de la Fuente and Óscar Mingueza. The latter was excellent at the back and made a great impression on his first appearance for the first team.
