Philippe Coutinho is a Brazilian footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Barcelona.
Coutinho signed for Barcelona from Liverpool for a whopping €160 million, a club-record fee. It also made him the world’s second most expensive player at the time, only behind compatriot Neymar who departed for Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 for €222 million.
Known for his playmaking, vision, and most importantly his trademark long-range shots, Coutinho was loaned out to Bayern Munich for the 2019/20 season, where he won the treble, beating, and scoring a brace against Barcelona in the Quarter-finals of the competition.
The Brazilian has won two La Ligas, one Copa del Rey, and one Spanish Super Cup with Barcelona, and a Copa America with Brazil in 2019.
