Luis Suarez is an Uruguayan footballer who plays as a centre-forward for Atletico Madrid. Suarez joined Atletico in 2020 after spending six seasons with Barcelona.
The striker joined Barcelona in 2014 on the back of a spectacular season with Liverpool, when he won the Golden Boot and finished 2nd in the Premier League.
Suarez won one UEFA Champions League, four La Ligas, and four Copa del Reys with Barça. He is also the third-highest Barcelona goalscorer of all-time with 198 goals, and the all-time top scorer for Uruguay with 63 goals.
Suarez received the Golden Boot as a Barcelona player for the 2015/16 season, scoring 40 league goals. He also led the assist numbers with 16, becoming the first player in La Liga history to top both charts.
