Papers: Messi and Ronaldo will finally face each other tonight

Tonight is finally the night. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will face each other in what might be their last duel ever. Of course, it doesn’t exactly surprise that the papers are hyping up the clash between Barcelona and Juventus as much as they possibly can.
SPORT are saying that the hope is returning with an incredible game later on this evening. The Catalans need a big victory after suffering a rough defeat against Cádiz on the weekend.

The paper also says that it’s possible that Ronald Koeman rotates the squad as a reaction to all the errors the team’s been making over the course of the season. Of course, this is still a big game since it will decide the winner of the group between the two titans.
Mundo Deportivo, on the other hand, are focusing on the big duel between Messi and Ronaldo themselves.

Interestingly, this will be the 36th time the two superstars will face each other on any stage with the Argentine winning 16, the Portuguese 10 and the clash ending in a draw nine times in total so far.
Barcelona’s first place finish is almost guaranteed, although there are scenarios in which they give up the top of the group to Juventus. However, even a 2-0 defeat would see them go through as winners.
