It’s crazy to think that this will be his fourth season at the club already but Ousmane Dembélé finally has to shine at Barcelona. This is the verdict the papers have delivered this morning and it’s also what many fans think.

Dembouz has been unlucky with injuries and SPORT say it’s ‘Now or never‘ for the young winger.

Luckily for him, the new season is just around the corner and his chance will come soon. Just this Saturday, the Azulgranas are set to play a friendly against Nástic.

If everything goes well, this will be the first time Dembélé sets foot on the pitch in nine months and he’ll finally get to shine at Barcelona again.

Mundo Deportivo, on the other hand, have gone in a different direction. They also talk about young stars but their focus is on Ansu Fati.

The paper states there’s an internal dilemma at the club. Barça are discussing whether to sign Memphis Depay or give Fati a more prominent role in the team.

He himself has proven to be capable of playing as a ‘number 9‘ if needs be and could be the ideal solution. Not to mention it would also mean Barcelona wouldn’t have to buy someone else.

Be that as it may, Depay is a serious option and some reports even suggested he has already agreed personal terms with the Catalans.

Only time will tell what happens next.

I’ve been a Barcelona fan for more than half of my life. What started as blind love is slowly turning into professional writing. Now, I get to write about Barca, analyse them, and voice my opinions on them across platforms. I’m happy to be a part of this big project.
