Later on this evening, Barcelona will play their third game of the 2020/21 Champions League campaign, looking for the third win as well. Following excellent results in the first two rounds of the group stage, beating Dynamo Kyiv tonight would essentially get them at the doorstep of qualification to the next round.

Of course, the game is all the papers are discussing this morning. SPORT have gone with a title that says Barça want to sentence their opposition tonight.

Another three points at the Camp Nou would mean the Catalans would be as good as qualified for the next round. Nothing is certain, however, and no opponent should be taken lightly, especially in Europe.

The good news is that the Ukrainian team has tested negative ahead of the clash, meaning UEFA won’t have to postpone the game. Finally, Ronald Koeman has now responded to Quique Setién by saying: ‘Messi is not difficult to manage. I have a good relationship with him.

Mundo Deportivo are dealing with exactly that topic of testing, stating that Dynamo are ‘negative‘ while Barcelona are ‘positive‘.

Of course, what they mean by that is that the 13 Dynamo first team players are now officially available after passing the PCR test so in that sense, they are all negative. Barcelona, on the other hand, are going into the match with overwhelmingly positive feelings.

The rival they are facing is severely weakened and they will be looking to go all out and make a statement in the European campaign as a whole.

I’ve been a Barcelona fan for more than half of my life. What started as blind love is slowly turning into professional writing. Now, I get to write about Barca, analyse them, and voice my opinions on them across platforms. I’m happy to be a part of this big project.

In an interview with BeIN Sports, Ousmane Dembele spilled beans on various topics ranging from football to personal life. The interview was conducted before yesterday’s Clásico.

The French winger is reportedly a player who the new president, Joan Laporta, admires a lot. Even during his campaign, the Catalan lawyer raised the issue of Dembele’s renewal. The club has invested heavily in Dembele and has finally started to reap results.

When asked the question about his contract renewal, Dembele explained: “My future? I still have a year left on my contract. There have been no discussions with the club, I’m happy and I feel good.

“A new president has arrived and I don’t really know him, but he is very close to the players. We’ll see how it goes.”

In all the reports that have come out and interviews given by the young players, all of them have mentioned that the club captain, Lionel Messi shares an exceptional with this new generation of players.

On the same lines the World Cup winner said: “Messi gives confidence to the young players in the team and helps us a lot. He gives me advice.”

Dembele is said to be liking his new role up top in the newly found 3-5-2 system by Koeman. He jokingly said in the interview that the dressing room now relates him to Samuel Eto’o, a former Barça legend: “As I now play up top, they call me Samuel Eto’o in the dressing room.”

The Barça winger had an excellent season at Dortmund which led to multiple European giants going into a bidding war for him.

His strike partner during his days in Germany was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, whom the Frenchman regarded as `his favorite teammate’. He also said that `Thomas Tuchel is his favorite coach’.
