After a lengthy helicopter trip to the autonomous city of Ceuta, Barcelona shift their attention to the Copa del Rey, where they take on AD Ceuta in the round of 16. They will be hoping this encounter proves to be easier than their round of 32 meeting against Intercity.

Xavi has made a fair few changes in the starting lineup for this game, with the likes of Pedri and Ronald Araujo rested. Robert Lewandowski does start, however, especially because he is suspended for the next two games in La Liga.

The same goes for Ferran Torres, who picked up a red card against Atletico Madrid. He takes his position on the left-wing, while Raphinha gets the nod on the right-wing.

In midfield, Franck Kessie has been given another chance to impress the coaches, starting alongside Pablo Torre. Sergi Roberto mans the midfield as the anchor, a role he has craved for, for a few years.

Eric Garcia‘s playing time has been reduced significantly since the World Cup ended, but he is in the XI alongside Marcos Alonso, guarding Inaki Pena in goal. The two Spaniards will be flanked by Jordi Alba on the left and Hector Bellerin on the right.

Confirmed Barça XI: Pena; Bellerin, Eric, Alonso, Alba; Kessie, Roberto, Torre; Raphinha, Lewandowski, Ferran
