Barcelona have announced the squad list for the final matchday of the UEFA Champions League as they get ready to host Italian champions Juventus to battle it out for the top spot in the group.
Ronald Koeman has increased his squad size and will feature with 23 players instead of 21 despite suffering some injury concerns.
The biggest takeaway, though, is that Samuel Umtiti has been mentioned among the players, and will make the bench for the first time since August when Barça faced Atletico Madrid in a 2-2 draw.
The full squad: ter Stegen, Neto, Inaki Pena; Dest, Lenglet, Umtiti, Mingueza, Araujo, Alba, Firpo; Coutinho, Aleña, Pedri, Pjanic, Puig, Busquets, de Jong, Matheus; Griezmann, Trincão, Braithwaite, Messi, Konrad
Absentees: Gerard Pique, Sergi Roberto, Ansu Fati, Ousmane Dembele
Ansu Fati, Sergi Roberto and Gerard Pique are out for several months, but we might see Ronald Araujo take on the field for the first time in a month since picking up an injury against Juventus a month ago. Oscar Mingueza cheaply gave away a goal against Cadiz, and that lack of concentration might come to haunt him tonight.
Koeman has decided to take a lot of players for this game despite claiming that he did not enjoy multiple players sitting on the bench at the same time. However, he must make the best use of players like Konrad and Trincao in the absence of Dembele and Fati.
