FC Barcelona have announced the squad list for the game against Cadiz in gameweek 12 of the La Liga. The Blaugranas come into this fixture on the back of a convincing 3-0 display against Ferencvaros in the Champions League, and will hope to build on the 11 goals they have scored in the last three games.

Lionel Messi, Philippe Coutinho, and Marc-Andre ter Stegen did not travel with the team to Budapest but have been included for the trip to Cadiz. It is almost certain that the trio will all be seen on the get-go, and Culés will be hoping that resting Messi does the team a world of good.

The full squad: ter Stegen, Neto, Inaki Pena; Dest, Lenglet, Mingueza, Araujo, Alba, Firpo; Coutinho, Aleña, Pedri, Pjanic, Puig, Busquets, de Jong; Griezmann, Trincão, Dembele, Braithwaite, Messi

Absentees: Pique, Sergi Roberto, Ansu Fati, Samuel Umtiti

More good news comes in the form the defence, as Ronald Araujo has been included in the squad list after missing nearly a month of football post picking up an injury against Juventus in the Champions League.

Matheus Fernandes has been dropped after failing to make it on the pitch for two games straight, while Koeman has maintained his match-day squad cap of 21.

Gerard Pique, Sergi Roberto, and Ansu Fati are still injured for several weeks, but Samuel Umtiti might make an appearance soon, even though he has been linked to Juventus in the near past.

The game to rest Messi against Dynamo Kyiv paid off successfully as the club captain ran riots against Osasuna on the weekend. If he is able to mirror that performance against Cadiz, who play a low-block, the team is in safe hands. On the other hand, Martin Braithwaite and Antoine Griezmann will look to build on their spectacular form, as they look to cement their spot in the team.
